Our Commitment

FanLink is an adult content platform. We are legally and morally obligated to ensure that every person who creates, appears in, or is depicted in content on this platform is 18 years of age or older. We take this obligation seriously and use third-party identity-verification (IDV) technology to enforce it.

No creator may publish paid or free content, and no content depicting a person may be distributed, until identity verification is complete and approved by our IDV provider.

How Verification Works

1. Start verification — After signup, creators are prompted to begin the IDV flow. The process is handled securely by our third-party provider (Persona or Veriff, depending on region).
2. Submit a government-issued ID— Accepted documents include a passport, national identity card, or driver's licence. The document must be valid and show your date of birth.
3. Biometric liveness check — You will be asked to complete a short selfie or video liveness check so the provider can confirm the ID belongs to you.
4. Automated review— The provider's automated system checks the document for authenticity, confirms the date of birth shows you are 18 or older, and verifies the biometric match. This typically takes less than 2 minutes.
5. Manual review (if needed) — If the automated check cannot reach a confident decision, a trained human reviewer at the provider will manually review your submission. This can take up to 24 hours.
6. Result notification — You will receive an email confirming whether verification was approved or declined. If approved, your account is immediately unlocked for content publishing.

What Happens If Declined

If your verification is declined, you will receive an email explaining the reason (e.g., document unreadable, expired ID, age below 18, or biometric mismatch). You may resubmit with a different document. Accounts that cannot pass verification will not be permitted to publish content.

FanLink does not store raw identity documents. Document images are processed and retained solely by our IDV provider in accordance with their privacy policy. FanLink retains only the verification outcome, a reference ID, and the timestamp for compliance and audit purposes.

Persons Depicted in Content

In addition to verifying the creator's own identity, our platform requires a signed model-release record for every person depicted in content. The release must confirm that the depicted person is 18 or older, has consented to appear in the content, and has provided the creator with a copy of their government-issued ID for the creator's own 2257 records.

Content is held in a moderation queue and will not be published until all required consent and release records are on file.

FanLink maintains records required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75. The designated records custodian and full compliance statement are available at /2257.

Fan / Viewer Entry Gate

Visitors to FanLink must confirm they are 18 or older before accessing any content. This confirmation gate appears on first visit and is stored in session storage. Visitors who decline are redirected away from the platform. This gate is in addition to—not a substitute for—the full biometric IDV required of all creators.
