Model Release & Consent Policy
Fluxus AG requires that every creator obtain a signed, written consent/release from each individual depicted in any content before that content may be published or sold on the Platform. This page explains our requirements.
1. Why We Require a Signed Release
Our consent requirement protects depicted individuals from having their likeness distributed without their knowledge or agreement, helps creators comply with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and § 2257A record-keeping requirements, and satisfies the requirements of our payment processors and applicable adult-platform compliance rules (including Mastercard AN 5196 and Visa adult merchant standards).
2. What Must Be in the Release
A valid release must include:
- The depicted person’s legal (full) name and any stage name(s);
- Date of birth — confirming they are 18 or older;
- The type and number of a government-issued photo identification document examined;
- A description of the content covered by the release;
- The depicted person’s explicit consent to creation, publication, and distribution of the content;
- Date and signature (electronic signature acceptable where legally valid);
- Contact information sufficient for record-keeping purposes.
3. Record-Keeping Requirements
Creators are responsible for retaining these records as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. § 75. Records must be kept for at least 7 years (or as required by law). Fluxus AG may require creators to produce these records upon valid legal request. See our 18 U.S.C. § 2257 Compliance Statement for full details.
4. Model Release Template
We provide a model release template to help creators meet these requirements. The template is designed to capture all information required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75.

To request a pre-formatted PDF template, email [email protected]with subject line “Model Release Template Request”.
5. Uploading Consent Records
When uploading content to your vault or creating PPV items, you will be prompted to submit a consent record for each depicted person through the creator dashboard. The consent record links the release to the specific content item. Content cannot be distributed until a consent record is on file.
6. Takedown for Non-Consent
If you are depicted in content on the Platform and did not consent to its distribution, you may request removal through our Report / Remove Contentpage. We will investigate and, if the claim is valid, remove the content and terminate the responsible creator’s account. For NCII (non-consensual intimate imagery), email [email protected] with subject line “URGENT — NCII Removal”. We aim to acknowledge within 4 hours and complete removal within 24 hours.
